Enhancing your capacity to adapt with confidence

Hello
My interest in helping people grow has been a thread throughout my life, as a teacher and mentor in academic and corporate roles, and now as a coach. I’ve walked my own winding path, learning from the turns I chose and the ones that chose me. Those experiences formed the foundation for the steady partnership I offer my clients today.
My Story
Years ago I took three different courses through the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), and while each one was amazing it was the first one that really changed my perspective. It was a month-long backpacking course in the Talkeetna Mountains in Alaska the summer before my last year of college – a big challenge for me as I’d never been hiking or camping before! The first two weeks were incredibly hard, but at the half-way point something clicked for me and I found my groove. I still don’t know what possessed me to sign up for that trip, but I’m so glad I did.
Today, I work with people in midlife who are navigating all kinds of transitions. Some are stepping into new leadership roles. Some are reassessing their careers, slowing down, or retiring. Others are facing shifts in identity, family dynamics, or purpose. Whatever the transition, my coaching provides a welcoming space to reflect, sort through competing priorities, and realign with what matters most to you. Unlike me in Alaska, you won’t need a topographical map or a backpack, but there will be moments of discovery, challenge, and clarity along the way.

Before becoming a full-time coach (well into my own midlife years), I spent most of my career helping organizations solve complex problems brought on by growth. I led team member experience, strategy, and operations at a mid-sized government consulting firm, where I built systems and processes to help the organization stabilize and plan for the future. At a newly launched consulting firm, I implemented technology solutions and built the foundation for a compelling employee value proposition so the founders could focus on client work from day one. As Chief of Staff for an innovation group within a larger company, I managed strategic planning and daily cross-functional collaboration with leadership to support ambitious goals.
Alongside my professional experience, my academic background continues to shape my curiosity and analytical approach. Earlier in my career, I taught French history, literature, and language at the undergraduate and graduate levels, lived in France, and explored the outdoors through the NOLS courses and other challenging trips, each one a reminder that growth often comes from stepping into something unfamiliar.
These experiences inform my coaching. They help me understand what change feels like—from the inside—and how to navigate it thoughtfully and effectively. When we work together, the solutions we arrive at will be personalized for your situation, your goals, and your way of working.
